For those who may not be familiar with the SENSEX, here is a quick description:

The Sensex (Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitivity Index) is a value-weighted market index composed of  the 30 largest stocks on the or Bombay Stock Exchange. The constituent companies account for around fifty per cent of the market capitalisation of the BSE.
